General Terms and Conditions

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the blendz.me app and all associated services and functions.
By registering or using the app, the user declares that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
Deviating terms and conditions of the user shall not be recognised unless blendz.me expressly agrees to them in writing.

3. Conditions of participation

  • Use of the app is permitted from the age of 16.
  • Users under the age of 18 will not be granted access to content, groups or events that are rated ‘FSK 18’ (18+). gekennzeichnet sind.
  • Users may not take any actions that violate applicable law or these Terms and Conditions.
  • Upon registration, a free usage agreement is concluded between the user and blendz.me GbR.

4. Registration and use

  • Registration is required to use certain functions.
  • The user undertakes to provide only true, current and complete information.
  • blendz.me offers a platform for finding new contacts, groups and events based on shared interests and activities.
  • There is no entitlement to matches, meetings, friendships or a specific reach.
  • blendz.me reserves the right to expand, restrict or change the app functions at any time.

5. Rules of conduct

Users undertake to treat each other with respect.
The following are expressly prohibited:

  • offensive, discriminatory, obscene, violent or illegal content,
  • sharing content that infringes the rights of third parties (e.g. copyright, trademark or personal rights),
  • Spam, harassment, unsolicited advertising or commercial self-promotion without consent,
  • automated access (bots, scripts, scrapers, etc.),
  • spending as another person or organisation.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or deletion of the account.
blendz.me reserves the right to review and remove content following a report or if there is reasonable suspicion of a violation of the rules.

6. Responsibility for content

  • Users are solely responsible for the content they publish in the app.
  • blendz.me does not review user content in advance.
  • blendz.me accepts no liability for the accuracy, completeness, legality or timeliness of this content.
  • Users grant blendz.me a simple, non-exclusive, worldwide right to use the content in the app (e.g. profile and event images).

7. Costs and terms of payment

  • The basic functions of blendz.me are free to use.
  • blendz.me offers additional paid features (e.g. ‘Plus’, “Premium”, ‘Business’) as a subscription.
  • Prices, terms and conditions are clearly displayed before completing an in-app purchase.
  • Payments are made exclusively via the respective app store (Apple App Store / Google Play Store).
  • blendz.me does not process any payment data itself, but only receives transaction information (e.g. subscription ID, period).
  • Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective app store.
  • reward advertising: Users can voluntarily watch promotional videos to unlock additional features (e.g. swipes). No monetary compensation is provided.

8. Termination and blocking of accounts

  • Users can delete their account at any time via the app.
  • blendz.me may suspend or delete accounts if users violate these Terms and Conditions or applicable law.
  • In the event of suspension or termination, there shall be no entitlement to a refund of amounts already paid.
  • blendz.me reserves the right to delete or deactivate accounts after prolonged inactivity.

9. Liability

  • blendz.me shall only be liable insofar as damages are based on intentional or grossly negligent behaviour on the part of blendz.me GbR, its legal representatives or vicarious agents.
  • Liability for slight negligence is excluded, provided that no essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) are affected.
  • In this case, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
  • Liability for lost profits, data loss, damage caused by other users or meetings that come about via blendz.me is excluded.
  • Liability under the Product Liability Act and for damage to life, limb or health remains unaffected.

10. Datenschutz

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy policy.
this is an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions.

11. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions

blendz.me may amend these Terms and Conditions with future effect if there is a legitimate interest (e.g. legal adjustments, new functions).
Changes will be announced at least 30 days before they come into effect.
If the user does not object to the changes within this period, they shall be deemed accepted.
You will be informed of any significant changes within the app or by email.

12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of blendz.me GbR, provided that the user is a merchant or does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany.
